Protecting the Future: Empowering Children and Youth’s Rights for Lasting Change

At Guardians of Human Rights, we believe every child and young person in Florida has the fundamental right to grow up in a safe, drug-free environment, as outlined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. Article 33 of the convention emphasizes the responsibility to protect children from substance abuse, affirming that a secure and supportive environment is an essential human right.

In Florida, our initiative focuses on educating children and youth, from middle and high school students to college and university attendees, through seminars on drug prevention and human rights. We collaborate with teachers, schools, colleges, universities, and local organizations like the Scouts to ensure that these critical messages reach young people across all stages of education. By fostering leadership skills, promoting awareness of human rights, and providing mentorship, we empower children and youth to take a stand against drugs, advocate for their rights, and build supportive communities. Together, we are shaping a generation of leaders committed to creating drug-free, inclusive environments where every child and young person can thrive.
